Kathleen M. Connelly presented at the NJ YMCA State Alliance Human Resources Network Training on October 17, 2014 at the Raritan Bay YMCA.  Kathleen will speak on some hot topics that are currently in the HR news.  How NJ Family Leave Insurance Interplays with FMLA, Paid Time Off and Other Leaves, Ban the Box, and Pregnancy Issues.

Kathleen will help you try and figure out this roadmap with it’s various intersections, sometimes “leaves” you lost!  She will review the pathways of these laws so that attendees come away with an understanding of how to stay on the right track. Kathleen will also offer insight on the new Ban the Box law and new state & federal protections for pregnant employees.
