Lisa Gingeleskie is a partner in the firm’s Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits group where she concentrates her practice in the areas of labor and employment law as well as ERISA and employee benefits law.

She has represented and counseled management in all areas of labor and employment law, including but not limited to matters involving employment discrimination and harassment, breach of contract, violation of restrictive covenants, wrongful termination, and reasonable accommodations in the workplace. On behalf of corporations, she regularly reviews and prepares employment policies and employee handbooks for legal compliance. She has conducted internal investigations into allegations of harassment and other forms of workplace misconduct and provides training for employees and management in areas of employment law. She has significant experience in state and federal court proceedings, as well as administrative agencies.

Lisa is well versed in advising employers on the use of social media to recruit, hire and when necessary, discipline employees. Lisa is a regular speaker at Lindabury-hosted seminars on best practices for HR professionals. Several recent seminar topics have included, Social Media in The Hiring Process, Proper Classification of Your Workforce, Employment Law Codes of Conduct for Health Care Professionals, Remote Working Trends, Dress Code Liabilities and The Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act.

She is also a frequent author of Lindabury’s client alerts on developments in Employment Law and regularly contributes byline articles to industry publications and news outlets. Together with other members of Lindabury’s Labor and Employment practice group, Lisa served as a co-author of the New Jersey chapter of the Chambers and Partners Global Practice Guide for Regional Employment Law.

Lisa currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Westfield YMCA, in addition to being co-chair of Lindabury’s Women’s Business Initiative program.
